I grew up in a small town in Northern California called Newcastle— where everyone knows everyone. I always had a love for creative writing, whether it was writing a book, song writing, or exploring journalism. That love stayed with me, shaping my career in the most unexpected ways.

Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of growing through diverse and enriching experiences. I began my professional journey by serving in the Navy for four years as an Administrative Assistant, where I worked within the Reactor and Engineering departments. During this time, I traveled to countries like Japan, the Philippines, and Bahrain as part of global operations. I supported a department of over 465 Sailors and Marines by managing key administrative tasks, including editing performance evaluations, awards, and official correspondence, earning two awards and four promotions for my exceptional performance and dedication.

Since transitioning out of active duty, I’ve ventured into marketing, completing an internship that has helped me hone my skills in digital strategies. At Snoice, a boba and dessert shop in San Diego, I managed their social media, created engaging posts and videos, sent newsletters, and successfully executed an SMS campaign. Currently, I’m furthering my expertise as a Sales and Marketing Intern at the Optimus Consultant Group, where I manage multiple social media accounts, analyze performance through Google Analytics, and collaborate with influencers for affiliate marketing campaigns

These experiences have shaped my skills in communication, marketing strategy, analytics, and design tools like Canva, and I’m driven to further refine these capabilities. As I pursue my bachelor’s degree at University of California, San Diego (UCSD), my career dream is to collaborate with strategic creatives who are as passionate and curious as I am, and do work that has a positive impact on the businesses and people we believe in.
